Butler County commissioners to consider proposed settlement conditions for Page event venue

The Butler County Board of County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 205 W. Central Ave., 4th Floor, in El Dorado.

Commissioners will consider conditions for the Michael Page event venue at 6333 SW Santa Fe Lake Road.

Earlier this year the County Commission denied a conditional use permit request for the event venue. Page contested the denial in District Court, and the case is being held for trial pending a settlement.

County legal counsel is recommending a settlement and will provide commissioners with a list of proposed conditions at the meeting. If approved, counsel would present the conditions to opposing counsel for consideration to resolve the case.
